The Finch Bay Galapagos Eco Hotel was the winner in the category of Ecuador’s Best Resort during the 12th World Travel Awards ceremony that took place in London.The Finch Bay Galapagos Eco Hotel, located on Santa Cruz Island of the Galapagos, was one of six resorts in the continent that received worldwide recognition due to their multiple attractions and services.
World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to recognize the best actors in the tourism business worldwide. Since its creation it has been considered as the most important recognition of the tour industry – as the prizes are granted by direct vote via Internet of professional travel agencies from over 200 countries with international prestige. The award is considered as the “Oscar” of tourism.
